What is Topview AI?

Topview (topview.ai) calls itself an AI video agent. It plans scenes, picks a model, generates the assets and keeps everything editable on a canvas. Its homepage lists a video agent, a canvas, a drama studio, an image generator and a set of marketing tools: AI UGC, Product Avatar, URL to Video and Avatar Marketing Video. It works with Seedance 2.5 and GPT Image 2.5 among many other models, and it offers API and MCP access on some plans.

Its pricing page, read on October 4, 2026, lists five plans, all shown as “per month, billed annually”: Basic at $18 for 50 credits a month, Plus at $36 for 100, Business at $44 for 3,000 credits a year paid upfront, Ultra at $50 for 500 a month, and Team at $56 per seat. We saw no month-to-month price and no free plan on that page. Several reviews from May to September describe a free plan and different prices, and the old $75, $150 and $180 figures now appear on the page as struck-through prices. Topview changes its plans often, so check the page before you subscribe.

Why people look for a Topview alternative

Reviewers on Trustpilot and Product Hunt raise three problems.

Credits go quickly. The same pricing page lists Seedance 2.5 at 1080p at 14.8 credits per 4 seconds. At that rate, Basic’s 50 monthly credits cover about three 4-second clips, or 12 seconds of video. Reviewers also report needing several regenerations to get a usable result.

Queues can be slow. Some reviewers say generation took a long time and that “unlimited” plan tasks are deprioritised. Topview’s own page says unlimited tasks apply to the web app only, and its terms describe them as benefits it can withdraw.

It is a broad platform. Topview covers films, dramas and marketing video. If you only need ecommerce ads, you pay in time and credits for a lot of surface area you will not use.

Topview has real strengths. Reviewers praise the interface, the number of models in one place and fast script-to-video and URL-to-video. Its Trustpilot rating on October 4, 2026 was 3.9 out of 5 from 279 reviews, and the company replies to many of the negative ones. Product Hunt showed 3.7 out of 5 from 6 reviews.

Its terms (updated September 9, 2026) allow a refund within 3 days of purchase, with no reason needed, as long as the credits from that payment are unused. Output from free accounts cannot be used commercially.

The 8 best Topview alternatives

1. Shhots AI: best for product ads

Best for: ecommerce stores, UGC ads, product video, image ads. Price: $19, $49 or $99 a month. No free tier.

Shhots AI makes finished ads from one product photo. For a UGC ad you upload the photo, choose the aspect ratio, pick an AI creator and a length, and generate. Shhots writes the script and builds the scenes, so there is no prompt to write. The same app makes product photoshoots, image ads and podcast-style ads, and it runs Seedance 2.5 for 30-second video.

Plans share one credit pool. Starter is $19 for 2,000 credits and up to 3 AI UGC ads, Pro is $49 for 6,000 and up to 10, and Scale is $99 for 12,000 and up to 21. Every plan exports without a watermark and includes a commercial license. The trade-off is scope: Shhots is built for product advertising, with no film or drama tools and a smaller model list than Topview.

2. Creatify: closest URL-to-video match

Best for: pasting a product link and getting an avatar ad. Price: Starter $39/mo for 100 credits. Free plan with 10 credits.

Creatify’s pricing page lists Starter at $39 a month with videos up to 2 minutes and 300 AI actors. Starter exports carry a watermark, and the watermark-free Pro plan is $99 a month. Annual pricing was not shown on the page we read. See our Creatify alternatives guide for more.

3. HeyGen: best for talking avatars

Best for: presenter-style videos, clones of your own face. Price: Creator $29/mo, or $24/mo billed annually. Free plan with 3 videos a month.

HeyGen’s Creator plan includes 600 credits, 1080p and watermark removal, with videos up to 30 minutes. The free plan allows 1-minute watermarked videos. It is the strongest option here if the ad is a person talking to camera.

4. Jogg AI: cheapest like-for-like swap

Best for: low-cost URL to video. Price: Starter $24/mo on the yearly toggle. Free plan with 200 credits.

Jogg’s official table lists 12,000 credits a month, no watermark and commercial use on Starter. The monthly-billed price was not captured on the page, so confirm it at checkout. The free plan is watermarked.

5. MakeUGC: plain UGC clips

Best for: simple talking-head UGC. Price: Startup $59/mo for 500 credits, shown with a 50% off promo and a $1 first month.

MakeUGC’s pricing page lists Startup at $59, Growth at $79 and Pro at $149. Credits expire at month end. Our MakeUGC alternatives guide covers it in depth.

6. Arcads: premium UGC actors

Best for: polished creator-style ads at higher budgets. Price: Not published. Third-party reviews put the entry plan near $110 a month for 10 videos.

Arcads’ pricing page returned an error when we checked and plans appear to sit behind sign-up, so treat any price you read as unconfirmed. See Arcads AI pricing explained.

7. Captions: best for creator-style editing

Best for: editing and caption-heavy short clips. Price: Max $24.99/mo on the iOS pricing the page lists. Free plan available.

Captions’ pricing page notes that its figures reflect iOS plans, so web prices may differ. The free plan covers basic editing and captions in 100+ languages without generative AI.

8. InVideo AI: budget text to video

Best for: low-priced general video. Price: Basic $9/mo for 190 credits. Pro $30/mo, or $18/mo annual.

InVideo’s Basic credits do not roll over, and generative models are priced separately. It is the cheapest entry here, and it is a general video tool, not an ad tool.

How to choose

Pick Shhots AI if you sell products and want finished UGC, image and video ads from one photo, with a commercial license on every plan. Pick Creatify or Jogg AI if you want to paste a link and get an avatar video. Pick HeyGen for a presenter. Stay with Topview if you want its agent, canvas and wide model selection, and you are comfortable budgeting credits for regenerations.

Whatever you pick, run the same product photo and the same brief through two tools before you commit to a plan.

How we checked these prices

We read each vendor’s pricing page on October 4, 2026. Where an annual price, watermark policy or commercial-rights wording was not on the page, we left it out instead of repeating a review site. Arcads’ official page did not load, so its figure comes from third-party reviews and is marked as such. Vendors change prices often, so confirm on the vendor’s page before you buy.
