Shhots AI now ships a remote MCP server you can connect to Claude and ChatGPT. Once connected, you can ask your AI assistant to generate AI UGC ads, cinematic product videos, and studio-grade product photoshoots directly in the chat — no code, no API keys, and no switching to a separate app. It is live today, included on the Pro and Scale plans, and setup takes about a minute. You can connect it from the /mcp/ page or see the plans on pricing.
What launched
The Shhots MCP server exposes the full Shhots creative engine as tools your AI assistant can call. Instead of describing a product ad in Shhots and building it in the app, you describe it in Claude or ChatGPT and the finished, watermark-free asset lands in your Shhots workspace.
| What it is | A remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server |
| Works with | Claude (web, desktop, Claude Code) and ChatGPT |
| What you can make | AI UGC ads, cinematic ads and AI videos, AI images and product photoshoots |
| Setup | Paste one URL into your assistant’s connector settings and sign in |
| Plans | Included on Pro ($49/mo) and Scale ($99/mo) |
| Cost per generation | Draws from your normal monthly credit pool — nothing billed separately |
At launch we are supporting Claude and ChatGPT — the two assistants most of our users already work in every day. Support for more MCP-capable clients is on the way.
What is MCP (Model Context Protocol)?
MCP is an open standard, introduced by Anthropic, that lets AI assistants securely connect to external tools and data. Think of it as a universal plug: instead of every app building a one-off integration for every assistant, a tool exposes an MCP server once, and any MCP-capable assistant can use it.
For you, that means the assistant you already brief your campaigns in can now also produce the creative. You plan the ad and generate it in the same conversation, without copy-pasting between tabs.
What you can create from chat
Everything the Shhots app makes, your assistant can now make for you:
- AI UGC ads — creator-style video ads with AI avatars speaking your script, in 12 languages and every aspect ratio. Ask for one, or ask for ten variants at once to test.
- Cinematic ads and AI videos — commercial-grade product films with camera moves, lighting, and pacing. Describe the shot; get the finished cut back in your workspace.
- AI images and product photoshoots — studio-quality product photos and lifestyle scenes from a single reference image, without a camera or a studio.
Because you are talking to an assistant, the brief can be as loose or as specific as you like. A few examples that work today:
- “Create 5 UGC ad variations for this product photo, 9:16 for TikTok.”
- “Turn my landing page into a 15-second cinematic ad.”
- “Shoot this bottle on a marble counter with soft morning light.”
- “Remake our best ad with a new opening hook and a 1:1 crop for feed.”
How to connect Shhots to Claude or ChatGPT
The Shhots MCP server is a remote server, so there is nothing to install. You paste one URL into your assistant’s connector settings and sign in with your Shhots account. The server URL is:
https://mcp.shhots.ai/mcp/
Connect it in Claude
- Open Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Paste
https://mcp.shhots.ai/mcp/and connect, then sign in to authorize.
Connect it in ChatGPT
- Open Settings → Connectors.
- Enable Developer mode and add a connector.
- Paste
https://mcp.shhots.ai/mcp/and connect, then sign in to authorize.
You can also grab the URL and the full step-by-step from the Shhots MCP page. After that, just ask your assistant for your first ad.
No code, no API keys
This is the part that matters for marketers and founders who do not want to touch a codebase. The MCP server needs no API key management and no code. You need a Shhots account on the Pro or Scale plan, you paste the URL once, and you are done.
If you are a developer and want to call Shhots programmatically from your own product or pipeline, that is what the Shhots Model APIs are for. Same engine, two ways in: the MCP server is for creating from chat, the Model APIs are for building in code.
Credits and safety
Generating through MCP draws from the same monthly credit pool as the Shhots app, at the same rates. Nothing is billed separately.
Spends are guarded, too. Your assistant shows the estimated credit cost before it generates — you approve, then it runs. Nothing renders without you asking, and nothing is ever billed outside your plan. The connection is authorized through your Shhots account, your assistant only accesses the tools you have connected, and you can disconnect the server from your client’s settings at any time.
Which plans include it
The MCP server is included on the Pro plan ($49/month, 6,000 credits) and the Scale plan ($99/month, 12,000 credits) at no extra cost. There is no separate MCP fee — you are simply spending your normal credits from a new place.
If you are already running a creative testing loop — pulling ad data into Claude, briefing the next batch, and generating variants — the MCP server closes the loop so analysis and production happen in one chat.
Get started
Connect it: grab the server URL and setup steps on the Shhots MCP page, paste it into Claude or ChatGPT, and ask for your first ad.
Not on Pro or Scale yet? Compare plans on pricing — the MCP server ships with Pro and Scale, drawing from the same credit pool as the app, with watermark-free exports and a full commercial license included.
FAQ
Which AI assistants work with the Shhots MCP server?
At launch, the Shhots MCP server works with Claude (web, desktop, and Claude Code) and ChatGPT. You connect once by pasting the server URL into your assistant’s connector settings. Support for more MCP clients is on the way.
Do I need to know how to code to use it?
No. There is no code and no API key management. You need a Shhots account on the Pro or Scale plan, then you paste the MCP server URL into your assistant’s connector settings and sign in. Setup takes about a minute.
Does generating through MCP use my normal credits?
Yes. MCP generations draw from the same monthly credit pool as the Shhots app, at the same rates. Nothing is billed separately, and your assistant only spends credits when you explicitly ask it to generate.
