Disclosure: Shhots AI is our product.
Zeely is a real, operating AI ad platform with 4.3 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 4,126 reviews, and most reviewers are happy with it. Its main recurring complaint is billing: trials that turn into paid plans, charges after cancelling, and a refund policy that says payments are nonrefundable. We read Zeely’s pricing page, terms, refund policy and review pages on October 4, 2026. This page sets out what we found, how to cancel, and seven alternatives with prices read from each vendor’s own page the same day.

What is Zeely?
Zeely (zeely.ai) describes itself as an AI ad creative platform that helps you create, launch and scale ads. It covers static ads, video ads, UGC-style avatar videos, URL-to-video, social ad formats and niche kits for stores. It also launches campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, and it is available as a web app and a mobile app. Its help center documents Kling O3 Pro and Seedance 2.0 for video and Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image 2 for images.
Zeely, Inc. is a Delaware company with an address in Wilmington. Its own About page says it was founded in 2022 in Ukraine, and TechCrunch reported a $1 million seed round in April 2023. Other figures on Zeely’s site, such as 2 million users and $75 million in annual revenue, are the company’s own claims and we could not verify them.
How much does Zeely cost?
Zeely’s pricing page on October 4, 2026 listed three plans, each shown with a crossed-out “regular” price:
| Plan | Price shown | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29.95/mo (crossed out $49.95) | 2,500 |
| Plus | $49.95/mo (crossed out $89.95) | 5,000 |
| Growth | $79.95/mo (crossed out $149.95) | 10,000 |
The page lists no annual price and no free trial. Its FAQ says plans come in several durations, including weekly, and that the plans in the app and on the website may differ. Third-party reviews describe a discounted first cycle of two to eight weeks that then renews at a higher price, and App Store prices that differ again. We could not confirm those figures on Zeely’s own pages, so check the exact price and renewal date at checkout.
Two costs sit outside the plan price. The pricing FAQ says running Facebook and Instagram ads can involve an additional charge of up to 12%, and the terms say Zeely may take a commission from your advertising budget. And credits are spent per generation: according to Zeely’s help center, a Kling O3 Pro video costs 500 credits and a Seedance 2.0 video costs 1,500. On those figures Starter’s 2,500 credits cover about five Kling videos or one and a half Seedance videos. Zeely also says you cannot set the video length yourself, because it picks one from your content.
Is Zeely legit?
Yes. It is a working company with real customers. What we found:
- Trustpilot: 4.3 out of 5 from 4,126 reviews on October 4, 2026. 65% are 5-star and 12% are 1-star.
- Apple App Store: 4.6 out of 5 from about 23,000 ratings.
- Better Business Bureau: rated C+, not accredited, with 101 complaints closed in the last three years.
- Company records: Zeely, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware, operating since 2022.
Happy reviewers praise the ease of use and the time saved compared with hiring a designer. The unhappy ones mostly describe the same few problems. Of the 19 most recent 1-star and 2-star Trustpilot reviews we read (July to October 2026), about nine were about billing, trials, cancellation or refunds, including people who said they were charged after cancelling or who read a trial as free when it was not. The rest were about results, price or support, such as ads that did not bring sales. Zeely replies to negative reviews on Trustpilot, usually within a day.
Zeely’s own blog attributes most complaints to billing confusion and unmet expectations. Read the renewal terms before you pay.
Zeely’s refund and cancellation terms
Zeely’s subscription and refund policy (effective December 4, 2025) says subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, that you are charged on each renewal date, and that a promotional price rolls to the standard rate when the promotion ends. It states that payments are nonrefundable, with exceptions where the law requires a refund and some discretionary cases. Ad-campaign payments are also nonrefundable under its terms (updated September 18, 2026).
How to cancel Zeely
Per Zeely’s help center:
- Log in at app.zeely.ai.
- Click your profile icon at the lower left to open Account Settings.
- Open Subscription & Payments and click Cancel subscription.
- Choose a reason and click Continue.
- The confirmation shows the date your access ends.
If you subscribed through the iPhone app, cancel through Apple instead. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancel before a promotional period ends if you do not want the standard rate.
Why people look for a Zeely alternative
The common reasons are cost control, not quality. People want a flat monthly price with no fee on ad spend, a clear refund and renewal story, or a tool that only makes ads and leaves campaign launching to Meta’s own Ads Manager.
The 7 best Zeely alternatives
1. Shhots AI: best for product ads
Best for: ecommerce stores that want finished video and image ads from one product photo. Price: $19, $49 or $99 a month. No free tier.
Shhots AI makes the ad creative: UGC ads, product photoshoots, image ads, podcast-style ads and 30-second video on Seedance 2.5. You upload a photo, pick the format and an AI creator, and Shhots writes the script and builds the scenes. Plans are flat monthly prices on a shared credit pool: Starter is $19 for 2,000 credits and up to 3 AI UGC ads, Pro is $49 for 6,000 and up to 10, and Scale is $99 for 12,000 and up to 21. Every plan exports without a watermark and includes a commercial license, and there is no commission on ad spend because Shhots does not run your ads. The trade-off: you upload the finished ads to your ad platform yourself.
2. Creatify: URL to video
Price: Starter $39/mo for 100 credits. Free plan with 10 credits.
Creatify turns a product link into an avatar ad. Its Starter exports carry a watermark and Pro, at $99 a month, removes it. See our Creatify alternatives guide.
3. AdCreative.ai: static ad creatives
Price: Starter $39/mo for 10 credits and one brand, with a 7-day trial that includes 10 credits.
AdCreative.ai focuses on image ad creatives and performance scoring. Its pricing page returned an error when we checked, so these figures come from its homepage.
4. HeyGen: talking avatars
Price: Creator $29/mo, or $24/mo billed annually. Free plan with 3 watermarked videos.
HeyGen is the strongest choice here if the ad is a person talking to camera. Creator includes 600 credits, 1080p and no watermark.
5. Jogg AI: low-cost URL to video
Price: Starter $24/mo on the yearly toggle. Free plan with 200 credits.
Jogg’s official table lists 12,000 credits a month, no watermark and commercial use on Starter. Confirm the monthly-billed price at checkout.
6. MakeUGC: plain UGC clips
Price: Startup $59/mo for 500 credits, shown with a 50% off promo and a $1 first month.
See the MakeUGC alternatives guide for the full comparison.
7. InVideo AI: budget text to video
Price: Basic $9/mo for 190 credits. Pro $30/mo, or $18/mo annual.
InVideo is a general video tool. Credits on Basic do not roll over.
How to choose
Stay with Zeely if you want creative and Facebook and Instagram campaign launching in one place and you are comfortable with its credit and ad-fee model. Read the renewal terms and set a reminder before any promotional period ends. Pick Shhots AI if you only need the ads and want a flat price. Pick Creatify or Jogg AI for link-to-video, HeyGen for a presenter, and AdCreative.ai for static creatives.
Run the same product photo through two tools before you commit to a plan.
How we checked this
We read Zeely’s pricing page, terms, subscription and refund policy and help center on October 4, 2026, along with its Trustpilot, App Store and BBB pages. Quoted policy wording was read through a summarising tool, so re-check any clause that matters to you on Zeely’s live pages. We could not read Reddit, G2 or Google Play, so none of them are cited here. Alternative prices were read from each vendor’s page on the same day, and where a price was hidden or a page failed to load we left it out.
